MuseTalk Privacy Policy

This page explains how MuseTalk.app handles account information, uploaded media, generated clips and the records needed to operate the service.

Updated October 28, 2026. Read these policies alongside the account, job and checkout details for your request. Purchase availability and terms must be confirmed before payment.

What the service processes

The workflow uses account information, an existing video, replacement audio, the selected segment, task status and generated output. Billing and credit records explain purchases, allocations, expiry and job settlement. Operational records may include technical errors, provider request identifiers, timings and cost records.

Only upload video, recordings and personal data you have permission to process. Do not include information that is unnecessary for the clip you want to create.

Private media and downloads

Private uploads and outputs belong to the authenticated account. Access must be authorized, and download links are short lived, with a maximum five-minute validity. Your uploads are not automatically added to a public gallery. Public examples require separate media rights and a separate public copy.

Keep a downloaded copy of any result you need. A temporary download link is not a permanent publishing link and should not be shared as one.

Retention schedule

The media retention schedule removes unsubmitted drafts after 24 hours. Finished-task input and temporary files are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours after the task ends. Generated videos are available for seven days. Ordinary diagnostic fields, such as uploaded filenames and validation messages, are limited to 90 days. This does not erase the retained job, payment, credit, provider-request or cost records that explain settlement.

Payment, credit, provider-request and cost records are retained separately to explain balances, complete orders, reconcile payments and handle disputes or applicable legal requirements. Deleting a video does not remove a financial record needed to explain an order. Contact support with questions about the records retained for your account.

Deleting media

You can request deletion of a finished task’s media from your account. Deletion blocks further playback and download requests through this service, including use of previously issued links. Stored files and controllable provider copies are then cleaned up asynchronously.

A task still processing must reach a terminal state before media deletion. A late provider response must not restore a deleted task or make its files visible again. Contact support if a deletion has not completed as expected.

Processing providers

The service uses these providers for account access, infrastructure, media processing and payments:

  • Netcup hosts the independent account database and private uploaded and generated media in Nuremberg, Germany.
  • Cloudflare provides edge delivery, connections to the hosting service and service email.
  • Google handles Google sign-in when you choose that option.
  • fal.ai processes the selected video and replacement audio using hosted MuseTalk inference.
  • Stripe handles checkout, billing and payment details. Do not send card details to support.

Other providers’ processing locations can depend on their service infrastructure; the hosting location above does not mean all processing stays in Germany. We use private media access controls and request time-limited provider storage. Provider-side retention and backups are separate from the availability of files in your MuseTalk account.

We do not promise zero provider retention, exclusion from all training, or immediate physical deletion from every provider backup. Authorized support access may be necessary to investigate a reported problem.

Account access and media references

Sign in to the same account to return to an uploaded draft or job. Files selected before sign-in stay in the current browser page until uploaded; closing or refreshing that page discards those unuploaded selections. Private files are not made public by a successful upload or a payment.

A signed media link temporarily authorizes access to a private file. Do not include that link in a public post or support screenshot. Download results you need to keep before their availability window ends.

Cookies, analytics and contact

Essential session information may be needed to keep account and task access working. This policy does not treat private uploads as public analytics content. Account, task and billing records support delivery, troubleshooting and settlement.

We use Google Analytics for public-page visits outside the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland when your browser does not send a Global Privacy Control signal. Unknown locations are excluded. Analytics cookies last up to 13 months. Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled. Private workspace, account, task and billing pages, uploaded media and URL query parameters are excluded.

For access, deletion, correction or privacy questions, use the contact page or email support@musetalk.app. MuseTalk.app is independently operated. Nothing in this notice limits rights that applicable law requires.
